Our Roots
Our clinic’s journey began in 1972 with the opening of the Institute for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine under the USSR Academy of Sciences in Kharkov, directed by Academician V.I. Grishchenko. This marked the beginning of groundbreaking research and application of stem cells. In 1997, the Interdepartmental Scientific Center for Problems of Cryobiology and Cryomedicine was established, bringing together the National Academy of Sciences, the Academy of Medical Sciences, and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Under the leadership of Academician Grishchenko, this center became a hub for innovative medical research and practice. In 2006, Miroshnikov Yaroslav founded and directed the Kyiv branch of the MCC, contributing significantly to the field of transplantology as the Chief Researcher at the Coordination Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Our clinic continues this legacy of excellence and innovation, now operating as the STEM Plus Clinic in Tbilisi since May 2024.

Meet our team
Dr. Yaroslav Miroshnikov, a distinguished urologist, andrologist, and endocrinologist, leads our medical team. With a career spanning several decades, Dr. Miroshnikov has made significant contributions to medical science. He holds a Candidate of Medical Sciences degree, has authored over 50 publications, and holds 7 patents for his inventions. Recognized for his expertise and dedication, he received the Prize of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine for young scientists in 2001 and is a doctor of the highest category. Dr. Miroshnikov’s extensive experience includes founding the Institute of Family Medicine and its successor, the Institute of Family Medicine Plus, and working at prominent clinics in Ukraine, Georgia, and Bulgaria. His leadership and expertise ensure the highest standards of care at STEM+ Clinic.

Dr. Nino Kandelaki
Dermato-Venerologist & Injection Specialist
With over 17 years of expertise in clinical dermatology, trichology, and aesthetic medicine, Dr. Nino Kandelaki is a highly respected dermato-venerologist and injection specialist. She has dedicated her career to providing advanced dermatological care, specializing in both medical and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Kandelaki is currently the Chief Injector at City Luxe Clinic and a consultant at Chapidze Heart Disease Center, as well as an educator in cosmetology at the Vocational Education Institute, Lepota.
Dr. Kandelaki’s comprehensive educational background includes an MA in Dermato-Venerology from the National Center of Dermatology and Venereology, along with a BA in General Medicine from Tbilisi State Medical University. She has also advanced her qualifications through numerous international courses and congresses in Europe, America, and beyond.
A leader in her field, Dr. Kandelaki is passionate about sharing her knowledge. She serves as a trainer for the Spanish brand PBSerum and has held senior roles, including Head of the Cosmetology Department at the Aesthetics Center “Organic Lab” and Head of the Academy of Cosmetology.
Her dedication to continuous learning and professional development is evident through her participation in prestigious congresses such as EADV (Berlin), AMWC (America), and IMCAS (Paris), and specialized courses in laser therapy, botulinum toxin application, and facial modeling.
Dr. Nino Kandelaki is fluent in Russian and has a working knowledge of English. She is dedicated to offering personalized and cutting-edge dermatological solutions to her patients.
